I don’t know about you, but I just don’t understand people who have road rage. Sure, sometimes someone might cut you off or something, but most of the time they’re ok.
I was riding with someone today who had to drive faster and keep another car from going past us and then pulling in front of us. It’s not like they were being obnoxious or anything. But as soon as he saw what they were trying to do, he had to keep them from doing it. And the thing that gets me is that he occasionally pulls the same move himself. And, of course, it’s perfectly fine then.
What do you usually do in that situation? My first instinct at anything like this is to be friendly and let them in. I mean, as long as they’re moving around safely, why be crabby about it? I just don’t see the point in adding MORE negativity to the world. I think a lot of it has to do with the person just being a mean, hateful person deep down. And I just don’t know that there’s anything at all I can do about that. Except learn to look the other way and try not to think about it. Any suggestions?
